Veterinary Care Assistant
Job Description
The Mount Veterinary Practice is an independent, community focused practice based in Fleetwood, providing excellent service, communication and compassionate high-quality care for both our clients and patients.
We are expanding our team and are looking for an additional veterinary care assistant to joint our nursing team. Experience and/or qualifications would be an advantage. Our full-time veterinary care assistants work a 5-day week in various shift patterns (but a set rota for each person) between the hours of 8.30-7 with a half hour lunch break. The Saturday morning rota is currently 1 in 3 (8.30am-12pm), and we are not open Sundays or bank holidays. Our OOHs are outsourced to a nearby dedicated OOH service provider. Part time staff work varied rotas depending on their preferred schedule and we are open to being flexible with the rota.
We are an RCVS Accredited Vet Nurse Training Practice and currently have two student nurses training with us. We would consider veterinary nurse training for the right candidate if this is something you would like to do.
