Bishopbriggs and Chryston Veterinary Centre are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant to join our friendly and professional team.

The role includesAssisting vets and nurses during consults, procedures and surgery Feeding, exercising and monitoring in-patients Maintaining high levels of cleanliness in kennels, theatres and clinical areas Handling and restraining animals safely and with care General admin duties


Rota

Working hours would be 40 hours over 5 days with the occasional Saturday. The shifts will be Monday, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm and Tuesday and Wednesday 11am-7pm.

Our ideal candidate

We are looking for someone with a genuine love and respect for animals, a team player with excellent communication skills, hard working, reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential as training will be given.

Our Bishopbriggs branch is easily accessible by road, bus and rail offering convenient access to Glasgow city centre and beyond.
Our dedicated team consists of 14 vets, 8 nurses and 8 support staff. We work together in a collaborative and supportive environment, where every team member feels valued and appreciated.
