Veterinary Care Assiatant (VCA)
to join us as one of our first team members. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a modern, high-standard practice from the very beginning, with plenty of scope to shape the role as we grow.What You'll Do
Assist vets and nurses with patient handling, treatments, and daily care. Support inpatient monitoring, cleaning, and infection control. Help maintain stock, equipment, and overall clinic organisation. Provide a warm welcome on reception: booking appointments, answering queries, and supporting clients. Be a key link between patients, owners, and the clinical team. Contribute to shaping the client experience as the practice grows.
What We're Looking For
Experience as a VCA (or in animal care) desirable, but not essential. Confident handling animals and supporting clinical staff. Friendly, approachable, and professional with clients. Flexible and proactive -- happy to switch between clinical support and reception duties. A team player who wants to grow with an independent practice.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
