We are looking for a dynamic veterinary nursing assistant to help the clinical and front of house team at our Midhurst site of Woodland Vet Centre. Your responsibilities will include assisting with nurse clinics, helping to restrain pets during veterinary examinations, and supporting our front-of-house team in providing exceptional care to our wonderful clients.
About Us
We are situated in the beautiful South Downs, a stone's throw away from the coast and London, giving the best of both worlds. We are an hour from both Heathrow and Gatwick Airport allowing for close transport links to Europe and beyond. Woodland Vet Centre have recently had our kennels refurbished, having a separate dog and cat ward allowing for improved patient welfare. Our sister practice at Midhurst Vets have a large preparation / kennel area, allowing constant supervision of all the patients.
We have lots of toys, to name a few, digital x-ray with a floating table, dental x-ray, a multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring machine, blood pressure sphymomanometer, microscope, in house biochemistry and haematology blood machines, ultrasound with cardiac and an abdominal probe, laser, ECG, endoscope and tonometer.

Applicant Requirements
We welcome all levels of any veterinary, animal and front of house experience. However, we do hope you will be kind, considerate, have a high energy, a positive can-do attitude, be happy to use your initiative and use time and resources effectively. You will instinctively want to go that extra mile to provide the best care to your patients.
Your shift pattern
You will work 40 hours per week, covering a mix of shifts across 5 days with varying start and finishing times to fit in with the nature of the business
