We are hiring!

Here at Wellpet Vets, we are looking for an experienced Veterinary Care Assistant to join our team. The role will involve working across both of our branches in Shenley and Edgware. Duties will include animal handling and restraint, inpatient care, general cleaning and maintenance, and peri-operative support for surgical cases.



About the rota

This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week between 8:15am to 8:00pm with one in four weekends.

We are a wonderful, first opinion practice located in Shenley which is a rural village location and we have another branch located in Edgware which is a London suburb so we have the best of both! Close to London and easy to travel in and a few minutes in the car and you're into rural Hertfordshire.

At Wellpet we have a close-knit team made up of 5 Vets and 5 Nurses. We work well together as a team and enjoy time together at work and outside of work on social events. We spread work evenly across the team and try to tailor appointments and surgeries to the relevant interests within our Vet and Nurse team. Practice facilities and equipment include ultrasound, x-ray and Idexx blood machines.
