dedicated Veterinary Care Assistant / Ward Assistant
to join our team!Hours:
40 hours per weekShifts:
A mix of early (08:30 - 17:00) and late (10:30 - 19:00) shifts, Monday to FridayWeekends:
1 in 4 Saturdays (09:00 - 13:00)About the Role:
As a Veterinary Care Assistant / Ward Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our veterinary team with day-to-day patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the care and handling of patients Preparing and cleaning kennels and hospital areas Supporting the nursing and veterinary teams with procedures Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients
What We're Looking For:
Previous veterinary experience preferred A keen interest in progressing onto a Student Veterinary Nurse Apprenticeship A compassionate and proactive approach to animal care Strong teamwork and communication skills
