Park Vet Group are recruiting for a Patient Care Assistant to join their team based at their Glenfield branch. In this position you will have the opportunity to work with a friendly and supportive nursing and client care team. In this role we do require flexibility for administration tasks on reception. This is a permanent full-time position working 38.5 hours per week. Monday to friday and 1 in 5 weekends.
The role of the patient care assistant (PCA) is critical in delivering quality patient care and an unrivalled client experience through teamwork, clear communication and utilisation of your knowledge and skills. You will be a key member of the nursing team, working collaboratively with a variety of teams members, including veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, and members of the leadership team.


You will work under the delegation of a Vet or Registered Veterinary Nurse to support patient care. You will embrace our culture with a growth mindset, have a passion for self-development to support yourself and others.

Deliver high quality patient care, utilising your developing experience and skills. Work and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Demonstrate the ability to be reliable, adaptable, understanding, and empathetic. Administration duties including answering telephone calls, booking appointments, taking payments. Maintain accurate client and patient records. Contribute to an outstanding client experience. Always provide an efficient, courteous, and helpful service to all clients, suppliers, and external contacts.
