Job Background
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join VetpetNI based in Lisburn Northern Ireland, the online trading name of VSSCO Vet Practice. VetpetNI is an internet retailer servicing the medicinal needs of companion animals and horses. The role of Veterinary Pharmacy Assistant will be to help the Veterinary Pharmacy Manager in the day to day running of the online dispensary. This will include liaising with the customer to support order placement, fulfilment and tracking through to receipt by the customer. You will also be involved in picking and packing orders under the supervision of the overseeing veterinary surgeon.
This role may well be hybrid, with the opportunity/need to deal with customer queries from home in the evenings and weekends to optimize customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have
Previous experience in customer service within a veterinary practice or human pharmacy
Veterinary & pharmaceutical knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Evidence of strong educational performance in Maths and English
AMTRA qualification (SQP) or currently working towards one.
Veterinary Nursing or Veterinary Care qualification
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.00-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
