If so, then this maybe of interest to you...we are looking for a Receptionist to join our existing team! Working collaboratively with other team members you will responsible for delivering excellent customer care to our clients and their pets.
Our receptionists are very important to us and are an integral part of our team. In order to thrive in this role you will need to be care driven, empathetic, extremely organised, thorough, and a confident and efficient communicator. Previous veterinary experience is preferable but not essential as full training will be given.
Responsibilities & Duties to include:Greet and acknowledge all clients as soon as they arrive in a friendly and courteous manner.
Deal with clients requests in a professional and timely manner, following practice protocols as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up to date client and patient records on the computer
Record all payments and transactions on the computer.
Action emails, request clinical histories and liaise with other external services.
Book appointments, operations and visits.
Understand the importance of team work and be able to communicate effectively with all team members
Understand client needs and consistently provide a high level of service
Deal with telephone enquiries by answering promptly, using good telephone technique and achieve a resolution
Ensure that the reception area and desk are clean, tidy and odour free.
Handling and processing veterinary insurance claims
About the rota
This is a full-time permanent role working 40 hours per week. The rota basis may include days/hours between:Monday to Friday 8am - 7.30pm
Saturday & Sundays 8.30am - 5pm
3 Bank holidays per year 8.30am - 5pm
