We have an exciting opportunity to join Gilmoor Vets.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our front of house team as a Customer Care Colleague. You will play a pivotal role in making sure you deliver the highest standards, within the customer care journey.

The ideal candidate would have an interest in animals, hold existing administrative skills, possess excellent communication skills. A professional telephone manner and be computer literate, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environment as part of a friendly, professional team, committed to improving the care of animals and supporting their owners.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

As the first point of contact with our clients, we expect exceptional verbal and written customer care skills.
We are looking for a friendly, efficient and caring individual to welcome our clients and their pets to the practice.
We need a pro-active individual who will ensure the waiting room, reception area and pharmacy are kept clean and tidy throughout the day.
We require an individual to assist the veterinary team with the dispensing of medications and prescription requests.
You must be able to provide prompt and efficient communication to all members of the veterinary practice team.
You will be required to use the practice management computer software.
Assist with stock organisation and ordering.
Handling payments and end of day cashing up.

Experience and skills:

Previous Customer Service skills required.
Veterinary experience preferred.

Available Position

Full time
Monday to Friday position with time off in lieu for weekend working.
Saturday working required on a shared rota basis.
Must be flexible and reliable.
We have three sites so flexibility to cover any branch (Durham, Sunderland or Spennymoor) to meet the needs of the business is a must.
A full valid driving license is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
