Our established independent small animal practice has a fantastic opportunity for a lead receptionist to join our dynamic team.

This historical practice has flourished since 1994 and has grown to a clinical team of 4 veterinary surgeons. We have been RCVS PSS accredited at the General Practice level and are an affiliated Veterinary Nursing Training Practice. We look forward to welcoming an individual with good communication skills and computer literacy who will contribute to delivering a high standard of care to our clients and contribute to the practice procedures and growth during monthly practice meetings.

Job role:

Answer and triage phone and emails from clients Answer clients on Pets App Schedule appointments and procedures Identify and work compassionately with clients in various emotional states Clients call backs Uploading results from Idexx lab station Uploading laboratory results Uploading prescription requests Relay appropriate information between clients, doctors and management Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record Assist in cleaning and tidying or reception area Able to use Windows based computer systems, word processing skills, email, web search and other skills Help promote our healthcare plan so patients are receiving best level of care for value for money Process payment and deposit transactions
You will:

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
