Veterinary Receptionist

to join our growing team

Job Summary

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, compassionate, and thrives in a busy, customer-facing environment. You will support both front-of-house and administrative functions to keep the practice running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets warmly, ensuring an excellent first impression
Manage appointment bookings and coordinate follow-up visits
Handle phone calls, emails, and general client enquiries
Maintain accurate client and patient records
Process payments, invoices, and assist with billing queries
Support basic laboratory tasks (e.g., sample reception)
Provide administrative support to the veterinary team
Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming

About You

Previous veterinary or animal-related reception experience is highly desirable*

Laboratory experience is a bonus*

Strong communication and customer service skills
Confident multitasker with strong attention to detail
Friendly, professional, and calm under pressure
Comfortable using veterinary or medical practice management software
