VETERINARY REFERRAL RECEPTIONIST

This position is suitable for someone that is flexible, communicates well and enjoys working as part of a team.

Working Hours: 22 - 31.5 hours per week:

Monday to Friday - varying shifts. Either 8am-6.30pm with an hour for lunch or 8am -1pm or 1pm - 6.30pm. Every other Saturday 8am-12noon.
Additional shifts are required to cover staff annual leave etc.

Place of work: Christchurch Veterinary Referrals. Tuddenham Road Business Centre. IP4 3QN

You report to the Practice Manager & Head Nurse and work collaboratively with other team members, clients and colleagues to meet the needs of patients and their owners.

This is a varied role and involves the following

:

Liaising directly with other Veterinary Surgeons to arrange patient referrals Liaise directly with clients and arranging referral appointments Discussing financial matters and insurance with clients Meeting and greeting patients and their owners Answering telephone calls Updating client records Using a veterinary database Communicating with clients via our PetsApp Scanning documents Dealing with enquiries from clients Processing payments and cashing up at the end of day Some house-keeping duties e.g. loading the dishwasher, sweeping and mopping floors when required

Pay: From 13.80 per hour
