Here at Avondale, we are looking for a friendly and approachable Receptionist to join our team.
You will be responsible for maintaining excellent customer service in person and over the phone, reception duties, along with office duties, greeting and assisting clients, scheduling, and managing appointments, answering emails and dealing with the post, maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the practice, safe handling of dispensed medications, banking/cashing up, stock control and team meetings.

Our ideal candidate will have previous reception/customer service experience, have excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask and work as part of a team.

Our practice is located in a rural location on the outskirts of the small market town of Strathaven in South Lanarkshire. Strathaven is a historic market town located close to the River Avon, which was granted Royal Burgh status in 1450. The town boasts several local attractions, such as Strathaven Castle, Strathaven Park, Airfield and Golf Club and has a great community spirit with excellent schools.

About the rota and salary

Your normal hours of work are 36.75 hours per week, Mon-Fri between 7:45 am and 7:15 pm. Included in this is the requirement to participate in a 1 in 2 Saturday rota, working 8:30 am - 12 pm.
