We are looking for a Veterinary Receptionist to join our busy veterinary practice to cover maternity leave for 18 months.
As the first point of contact for our customers and the general public, the right candidate requires excellent customer service skills and will have previous reception or hospitality experience.
This full-time position offers up to 40 hours per week, working shifts between Monday-Sunday on a rota basis. Hours can be flexible and will be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Answering phone calls, emails and greeting customers in practice.
Managing the appointment diary and keeping customers records up to date.
Taking payments, assisting with debt control and cashing up.
Dealing with food/medication orders and all customer enquiries.
Keeping the reception and the waiting area clean, tidy and well stocked.
Working with different teams to provide excellent customer service and patient care.
