Here at Alora Vets we have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our amazing reception team!

The hours for this role would be Monday and Tuesday 1pm to 5.30pm (we would require up to 6.30pm when the other receptionist is on annual leave), Thursday 1pm to 6.30pm and Friday 1pm to 5.30pm (again to 6.30pm when the other receptionist is on annual leave) along with a 1 in 5 Saturday mornings 8.30am to 1pm on rota. We would require some flexibility to cover additional hours for staff holidays/sickness where appropriate.



Our reception team is an integral part of our practice, and we work hard together to ensure that every client is welcomed and supported by the whole team when in the practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

To ensure the smooth running of our front of house Greeting clients on arrival Delivering exceptional service Taking Payments Booking of future appointments Dealing with day-to-day queries Ensuring daily duties are performed by each staff member Administration duties such as answering client emails, sending out emails and signing up clients to our Pet Health Plan.

Our ideal candidate

A proven background in reception duties (experience in the veterinary sector is desirable but not a must have as full training will be given on the job) Outgoing Confident communication/interpersonal skills Providing a smooth and professional service at all times Passionate about customer service A high standard of personal presentation Happy using computers on a daily basis and confident with systems such as outlook would be desirable
