Our standalone practice is one of a kind--it's based in a converted fire station, giving us a bright, spacious, and modern environment equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. From the latest diagnostic tools to the space to work up cases locally, we provide everything you need to deliver excellent care.

Location




Hemsworth is a bustling market town with excellent transport links. The practice is just a short walk from the bus station, offering routes across Barnsley, Wakefield, Pontefract, and Doncaster. With the M1 and A1 close by, we're easily connected to the cities of Leeds, Sheffield, and even Manchester--perfect if you enjoy the energy of city life.


For your downtime, the area has plenty to offer. The Role




This position is fully flexible:

Full-time (40 hours) Part-time (minimum 24 hours) Flexible scheduling to support your lifestyle

Weekends are shared fairly across the team, and there are

no out-of-hours

, so you can enjoy a healthy work-life balance.

We're looking for a vet with:



Small animal experience gained in general practice Confidence with sole charge when required Strong communication and people skills A collaborative approach and passion for gold-standard patient care
