Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon - Pet Repair Vets

The Role & Benefits



This is a full-time position (average 40 hours per week) offering a supportive environment designed for professional growth:

Work-Life Balance: 4- or 5-day week (8:30-18:00) with 1 in 3 Saturdays (8:30-12:00). No OOH or on-call (covered by Vets Now) and no Bank Holidays. Salary: up to 65,000 DOE (36,000 for new graduates), reviewed annually. Clinical Excellence: 15-minute consults with dedicated emergency slots to prevent double-booking. You will manage a high volume of complicated second opinions and advanced work-ups. Facilities: High-spec equipment including Mindray Vetus 50 ultrasound, with microconvex, linear and phased array probes, digital X-ray, dental X-ray (iM3), full IDEXX lab, electrosurgery, SAV4 ventilator, Tonovet Plus, slit lamp, stapling devices, regenerative medicine kits, and much more. Tech-Forward: Cloud-based PMS with integrated client chat and a recorded hybrid phone system for team protection, routine use of Heidi medical scribe to minimise note typing and maximise retention of clinical details. Health & Wellbeing: 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, NEST pension, and comprehensive Private Medical Insurance (including mental health cover, physiotherapy, and private hospital access). Professional Development: Paid RCVS, VDS, and BSAVA fees. We offer an unlimited CPD budget (3 days paid leave) and will fully fund a Certificate of your choice (as long as it is relevant to our work in practice).

Mentorship & Growth



Working alongside a PGCertSAECC holders with extensive experience in all areas of small animal practice, you will receive one-on-one mentoring. Beyond routine day-to-day practice, you will have the opportunity to assist in advanced procedures and rapidly build confidence in emergency care and complex case management.
