We are looking for a motivated Veterinary Surgeon to join our talented team at our Bury St Edmunds branch

Eastgate Veterinary Group serves the people of Suffolk and Norfolk with RCVS accredited practices in Bury St Edmunds, Mildenhall and Thetford.

The team comprises four Vets and five RVNs in Bury St Edmunds, with three Vets and four RVNs in each of our branches at Mildenhall and Thetford. Each practice has a proactive and friendly support team.


Our 'patch' of Suffolk and Norfolk is beautiful and lively, rich in heritage, culture and nature with ancient villages, diverse landscapes and wildlife. There's a vibrant arts and entertainment scene too, breathing fresh life into historic places. With all this, Bury St Edmunds has been called the "jewel in the crown of Suffolk" and yet Mildenhall and Thetford offer many hidden gems too. For city lovers, glorious Cambridge is nearby and Norwich not far. London is a mere 80 miles away.

The Role:

Our full-time Vets work a 4-day week, covering 36 hours. With a 1 in 6 Saturday morning rota at the Bury St Edmunds surgery for which you have time off in lieu.


However, we are happy to consider part-time and flexible working for the right candidate, and can also look at consult-only working, if preferred.


We're looking for an experienced Vet to join our team that works to develop and share each other's skills and knowledge.
