About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time small animal position working across three well-equipped branches in Cornwall. The role covers a typical GP vet caseload, and we're happy to hear from confident clinicians or vets looking to grow--particularly those who enjoy mentoring or being mentored. Flexibility on working location is available, but Fridays must be included in your schedule.
About the Practice
You'll be joining a well-established RCVS-accredited practice that's been serving pets in Devon and Cornwall for over 65 years. The team includes 8 vets with varied experience and specialisms including imaging, internal medicine, and dentistry. Nurses and receptionists are highly experienced, and the practice culture is warm, collaborative, and supportive.
Weekly clinical meetings, a large team dynamic, and strong ties to local referral centres help keep standards high while ensuring everyone feels supported. Whether you're looking to settle into a friendly team or push forward with clinical interests, you'll find the resources and team spirit here to succeed.
Location, Location, Location
Based in East Cornwall, this is an outstanding lifestyle opportunity. You'll be close to the coast, Dartmoor, and just a short drive from Plymouth for city amenities. Enjoy sailing, surfing, hiking or simply soaking in the scenic surroundings in one of the UK's most picturesque regions.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking a kind, collaborative vet who's great with people and patients alike. You might be a confident all-rounder or an early-career vet looking to grow--but either way, you'll need strong communication skills, clinical curiosity, and a willingness to be part of a genuine team.
