We have an exciting opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to come and join our friendly team at Lichfield Vets for Pets.

We're looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to work 40 hours per week Monday - Friday which will involved sole charge working.




You'll be joining a close-knit, supportive team that includes 1 experienced Nurse, 1 Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA), and 2 friendly Receptionists. We pride ourselves on creating a positive and encouraging work atmosphere where teamwork, respect, and a shared love for animals are at the heart of what we do.

recently qualified or bring years of experience,

we'd love to hear from you. You'll have the chance to make a real difference in the local community, work closely with loyal clients, and help us continue delivering the highest standards of care.


As a

vital member of our clinical team,

you'll play an important role in shaping the continued success of our practice. Ideally, you'll have a good foundation in both general surgery and medicine, with the confidence to work cases up independently and contribute to the development of clinical protocols. However, we understand that the right fit for our team isn't just about experience -- it's about attitude, communication, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient and client care.


We're open to applications from both

experienced vets and those earlier in their careers.

If you're a newer graduate, we're happy to provide support and mentoring to help you grow. If you're more experienced, you'll have the autonomy and encouragement to bring your ideas to the table and help drive clinical standards. Either way, we're looking for someone who is
