Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Farm Vet to join a team dedicated to delivering excellent care to our diverse client base of dairy, beef and sheep farms. With surgeries in Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale, we pride ourselves on blending traditional values with a forward-thinking approach to herd health and farm consultancy.

The Area

We have one practice on the edge of the Lakes and one in the Dales both beautiful areas and only 13 minutes apart, you would be required to work at both sites' dependent on cases but flexible regarding where you start there day. The area boasts plenty of walking, great for outdoor living and adventure plus beautiful scenery with great transport links.

The Rota

1 in 5 weekends on call, plus 1 weeknight on rota on call from 5:30pm - 8am. Full or part time hours considered for the right candidate.

The Team
You will join a team of 4 farm vets, we are a mixed practice with seperate farm and small animal teams, meaning you gain the benefit of nurses who are always happy to help, especially calving or an interesting surgery!
