Job Description

We are looking for a vet to cover four hours on Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 12:00 with RVN and Receptionist support.

The Cat Clinic is a two fulltime vet, feline only clinic located 7 minutes away from the Portsmouth coastline in Southsea. We are a well equipped practice with digital radiography including dental, k-laser, ultrasound and an extensive in-house laboratory.

What can we offer



This position does not have any on call or out of hours requirements as all emergency cases are diverted to Vets Now from midday.

There is flexibility to work each Saturday or on a 1:2 or 1:3 basis as well as the opportunity to cover holidays on weekday shifts if desired.

The clinic itself is equipped with idexx in-house blood machines, digital dental and standard x-ray machines, ultrasound, doppler, capnograph and k-laser. It is both an accredited RCVS Practice Standards Clinic as well as a listed ISFM feline-friendly clinic.
Sitting on a busy high street the clinic is a stone's throw away from many pubs and restaurants as well as the Kings Theatre allowing an active social life for those who want it.

The person we are seeking is someone who is confident to work sole charge, with a focus on consulting work. You must have a passion for cats, and be professional, kind and motivated to work off your initiative as well as within the team.
