About you and the role:


We are looking for an experienced vet who ideally is confident with all routine surgical and medical cases, an interest in orthopaedics would be advantageous but is not essential. You should be keen to take on a supportive role and demonstrate key skills including building strong relationships with clients, patients, and the wider team.


This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, hours between 8.30am-8pm working 4 day week with set day off. Saturdays are mornings only (9am - 2.30pm) and are worked on a 1 in 4 basis.


About us:

You will be working alongside Practice Owners Nicola Gray and Ignacio Martinez Robles, Practice Manager, a friendly team of 5 Vets and 2 clinical lead nurses who support a team of RVNs and student nurses.


We are based inside a busy Pets at Home store in the centre of town, offering free onsite parking, a train station within a couple of minutes' walk, easy access to the M1 and just 40 minutes from both East Midlands Airport and Birmingham Airport.


We are a small animal practice with a high caseload of exotics. The practice is modern and spacious with state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, in-house laboratory, and ultrasound and multi parameter. You will have clinical freedom, and we have a visiting referral vet who carries out mentoring on orthopaedic cases.
