Compass Associates are delighted to be working alongside a growing veterinary practice in Birmingham to find a new Vet to join their diverse, passionate team.

You will be working all over the practice covering routine ops on small animals all the way to particularly niche surgeries on exotic animals \xe2\x80\x93 if you have the skill set to. You will perform your own consults, diagnostics and cover in patient care and help develop and mould your team.

We have all the usual bells and whistles you\'d want from a modern practice including X-Ray, dentistry equipment, state-of-the-art theatres and wards.

This is a full time role covering 37.5 hours a week with an equal share in the weekend rota. Weekend work is paid on an enhanced rate.

What qualifications do I need?

We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon who has RCVS accreditation and is confident in both medical and surgical skills.

You should also have experience with orthopaedics, soft tissue and effective consults.

Candidates who are certificate holders will stand out.
