Summary

As a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in endoscopy (for medically inclined candidates) or laparoscopy (for surgically inclined vets), you will be instrumental in providing high-quality medical care to animals. Reporting to the Lead Veterinarian/practice owner, your role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, utilizing your core skills in surgical procedures and patient care. Your premium experience in veterinary and laboratory settings will enhance your ability to perform advanced diagnostic techniques. Additionally, your relevant skills will support effective communication with pet owners and collaboration with the veterinary team, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues. Perform surgical procedures, including endoscopy (interest essential, training can be provided) Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during surgeries. Collaborate with other staff to ensure optimal care. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients. Provide guidance to pet owners on post-operative care and health maintenance.

- we accept referrals for diagnostic and interventional endoscopy and advanced laparoscopic procedures

- laser (surgical and therapeutic), rapid cancer diagnosis, in-house laboratory

- 4 vets / 6 Rvns and further 10 support staff (receptionists, admin, Vca)

- no OOH, 7 weeks holidays and support for postgraduate certificate

- 4 days a week, at least one surgical day, 8-6.30pm and 1:4 weekends for four hours
