salary, depending on experience

4-day working week

One 9-hour weekend shift every 5 weeks

(Sat or Sun)

One bank holiday shift per year

38.1 hours/week

average with

no on-call

- night service handled in-house

6.6 weeks holiday

, with options to buy/sell

1,750 CPD allowance + 5 days

, enhanced for Advanced Practitioners

RCVS, VDS and two additional memberships paid

Certificate study fully supported and funded


About the Role





This role is ideal for an experienced small animal vet with a passion for medicine, imaging, and case workup. You'll have access to high-end facilities including CT, advanced ultrasound, in-house lab (including TEG, blood gases), and video endoscopy.



This is a key role within a high-performing hospital, working alongside surgical and ECC teams. Ideal candidates will be certificate holders or working toward one, confident managing complex cases and happy to share knowledge with peers. Excellent communication, clinical confidence, and a collaborative approach are a must.

This multi-disciplinary hospital provides seamless 24/7 care and supports both first opinion and emergency cases from across the region. The site includes:


Dedicated ECC, exotic, soft tissue and orthopaedic theatres CT scanner, dental suite, hydrotherapy, and physiotherapy 24/7 inpatient care with full support teams Fully integrated medicine, surgery, and ECC teams
