Your responsibilities



The ideal candidate will be experienced and confident in both general surgery and medicine with exceptional communication skills. Someone who is friendly and keen to be part of a great team is essential. We actively encourage all of our associates to take CPD in their chosen area and we have lead nurses now developing the nursing roles in the team which is something we are extremely proud of. For all your hard work, we offer generous time off following in patient duties.


You will be working with our team of well-established Vets, Nurses, Customer Care team and Patient Care Assistants. Spinneys Vets has two large branches, both RCVS GP accredited which are both well equiped. We have certificate holders in Surgery with other vets training towards cerificates in medicine and exotic. We perform Orthopaedics, endoscopy, laparoscopy, more complex common routine soft tissue surgical procedures including BOAS. We have vets with special interest in dentistry, rabbit medicine, ophthalmology and dermatology. As a team we are always happy to collaborate with each other with complicated cases or support a colleague should they want to progress more in a certain role. We have all of the usual equipment including Doppler ultrasound, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, endoscopy, monitoring equipment and in-house lab.


Rota and package



Part-time, 25 hours per week Salary up to 40,000. + 4,000 relocation package available No OOHs (provided by Vets Now) 2:8 Saturdays (08:30-17:00 consults only) Inpatient rota includes: Shared rota of surgeries and consults
