We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dynamic veterinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care and welfare, along with the technical expertise necessary to perform a variety of surgical procedures. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality veterinary services and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This is a new position to allow a more relaxed working atmosphere and time to enjoy your role. We have at present closed our books to new clients but would like to re open them and allow further expansion.at this independent practice

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose medical conditions. Perform surgical procedures, including routine operations and emergency interventions, with precision and care. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient patient care and clinic operations. Maintain accurate medical records for all patients, documenting treatments, surgeries, and follow-up care. Provide guidance to pet owners on post-operative care and general animal health management. Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities. Assist in laboratory work as needed, including sample collection and analysis to support diagnostic efforts.

Experience

A degree in Veterinary Medicine from an accredited institution is essential. Previous experience as a Veterinary Surgeon is preferred, demonstrating proficiency in surgical techniques. Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary diagnostics is advantageous. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in clinical practice.

Pay: 35,000.00-50,000.00 per year
