Avalon Veterinary Clinic, Milngavie, Glasgow

Veterinary Surgeon, part-time one day per week

Part-time vet needed to join our friendly, independent small animal practice in Milngavie, Glasgow. We have a lovely job to offer, one day per week with favourable hours.

We would love to find someone to join our team. Our practice has a great local reputation of which we are incredibly proud. We pride ourselves on client and patient care.

Our team consists of 4 vets, 2 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 1 ACA, 2 receptionists and practice manager.

The hours for this position are Wednesday 8.30am-5pm and 1 in 4 Saturday mornings (8.30am-12pm).

There are no other out of hours or other weekend hours.

The successful candidate will be an RCVS registered veterinary surgeon, enthusiastic about all aspects of first opinion veterinary medicine.

Must work well as part of a team and possess excellent communication skills.

The Package

Salary 35,000-65,000 per annum (pro rata), DOE

RCVS and VDS fees paid.

25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata).

Discount for own pets.

CPD allowance 500, may be increased for special interests.
