Veterinary Surgeon – Peterborough

Peterborough, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Supportive team culture. Flexible hours. No out of hours. Accommodation included.

If you are craving a role where you can breathe again

If you are tired of feeling stretched thin, carrying sole charge without backup, or working in a system where work life balance only exists on paper, this might be the reset you have been looking for.

The Opportunity

We are working with a well established small animal practice in the Peterborough and wider Cambridgeshire area, that has built something many vets spend years trying to find. A place where clinical standards are genuinely high, the team laughs often, and the rota finally allows you to have a life outside the consult room.

They are looking for a confident Veterinary Surgeon who enjoys a balance of medicine and surgery, plus the occasional sole charge shift. You will divide your time between two friendly branches, with the option of occasional cover at a third, giving you variety without feeling scattered.

What makes this practice stand out is not just the depth of experience within the team, but the way they work together. Communication is open, clinical discussion is encouraged and personal wellbeing is taken seriously. This is not a role created to fill a gap. They want someone who enjoys working collaboratively, brings their own strengths and is ready to feel valued again.
