We're working on behalf of a family-run, independent small animal and exotics practice located in stunning Norfolk. Since opening their purpose-built hospital in 2014, this team has grown from a humble 2 vet operation to a thriving 5 vet day team and 4 vet night team, supported by 9 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 ANAs, and 2 Receptionists.

This is a truly modern, progressive clinic that puts team wellbeing, patient care, and clinical freedom at the forefront.

| ABOUT THE ROLE |



4 day week Shifts: 8:30am-7:00pm 1 in 5 Saturday mornings (consults) and the rest of the weekend on call When working a weekend your hours will be 12-7pm on a Friday and 8:30am-12pm on a Monday No night duties - covered by their dedicated night team Consult-only roles considered if preferred
The practice is Gold accredited for feline and rabbit care and dog friendly, with a diverse caseload:

40% dogs 30% cats 30% exotics (rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles - and occasional zoo work)
Not confident in exotics? Don't worry. Full in-house training and support is available.

The practice continues to invest heavily in both its people and facilities. Clinical equipment includes:

On-site CT scanner Laser therapy, cryopen, platelet regeneration / stem cell therapy Digital and dental X-ray, Doppler ultrasound Full endoscopy suite: gastroscope, bronchoscope, laryngoscope, rigid scope Multi-parameter monitors, in-house digital cytology Dedicated surgical theatres, separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotics Outdoor exercise space for inpatients
The team culture is described as warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely happy. RVNs run a wide range of clinics and bring their own special interests to the table - particularly in exotics and behaviour. There's no pressure to hit sales or treatment targets; just a shared focus on quality care and teamwork.
