We are seeking a star Veterinary Surgeon to join our veterinary practice. MyVet Salisbury is a practice dedicated to providing the best possible care at the best price to clients, ensuring we can do our very best for animal health and welfare, and allow owners to have better accesses to veterinary treatments. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality medical & surgical care to a diverse range of animal patients. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for professional development with a high medical and surgical case load.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose medical conditions accurately Perform surgical procedures, including routine operations and emergency interventions Prescribe appropriate treatments, medications, and therapies tailored to individual cases Assist in laboratory testing and analyse diagnostic results to inform treatment plans Offer advice and education to pet owners regarding animal health, nutrition, and preventive care Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with veterinary standards Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure seamless patient care Stay updated with the latest developments in veterinary medicine through continuous professional development

Qualifications

Veterinary degree recognised by the relevant professional body Proven veterinary experience, ideally across small or mixed animal practices Laboratory experience is desirable to support diagnostic procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathise with clients and colleagues Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping and case management Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards

Pay: 35,000.00-80,000.00 per year
