We're excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and experienced team at The Veterinary Centre. You'll play an integral role in delivering outstanding veterinary care, both in consults and surgery, working closely with a close-knit team of vets, nurses, and support staff who genuinely enjoy working together.

A full-time role will involve working 40 hours over 4/5 days per week. There will be 1 in 5 weekends and no out of hours or on call.

The Veterinary Centre Glasgow is a one site small animal practice. We are well equipped with the usual kit including a digital x-ray, ultrasound, full in house lab, a cautery machine and we have the additional laser to support chronic pain.

We are based in the West End of Glasgow. The local area is a good mix of vibrant urban life with good City access.

Our team and culture

Currently we have We have 1 Clinical Director and 5 Veterinary Surgeons. Our nursing team consists of 7 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 Animal Care Assistants. We also have 1 Practice Manager, 1 Administrator and 3 Receptionists all with a wide array of interests and talents. In our team we have a certificate holder in Acupuncture. Our nursing team are working towards certificates in Physiotherapy and Senior Wellness.

We are a dedicated team of likeminded professionals with a super friendly nursing team who are hungry for knowledge. We are keen to achieve the highest standard of care. We would love to welcome another passionate and experienced vet who brings their own unique skills and personality to add to our team dynamic.
