Veterinary Surgeon Small Animal Mobile Practice
Job Description
Due to one of our vets retiring, we are looking for a new vet to join our team. We are a mobile small animal practice based in Barlborough on the Sheffield/Chesterfield border. We start our day at our Barlborough base and carry out home visits in our converted vans. Vets work alongside a qualified nurse or veterinary care assistant. Our vans are set up to be able to print medication labels to make dispensing easy on the move.
We have an operating theatre based in Treeton and so there will be at least one operating day a week in our theatre if desired.
We find house visits a much more enjoyable way of working and find they give a better pace to veterinary life!
Qualifications
Qualified veterinary surgeon registered to work in the UK
Hours
We are looking for someone to work a minimum of 20 hours per week but we have scope to employ someone for up to 40 hours a week. We do not work nights or bank holidays.
