Veterinary Surgeon -- Stamford, UK(Part-time preferred | Consulting + Surgery | Ophthalmology interest welcomed)

Salary:

38,000-70,000 FTE

Location:

Based mainly at our Stamford practice, with the chance to support our Peterborough branch from time to time.

Hours:

Part-time role, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.

We're a growing independent practice in beautiful Stamford, and we're looking for a vet with at least 2 years' UK small animal experience who wants to help shape our practice -- our systems, our culture, and our medicine. Your ideas won't just be welcomed; they'll matter.

We'd be particularly keen to hear from vets with an interest or additional experience in ophthalmology.

Our current ophthalmologist is stepping back, and there's a well-established and varied ophthalmology caseload ready for someone to take on and develop. Whether you already hold a certificate, are working towards one, or simply have a strong interest and want to grow your skills further, we're very happy to support you.

We also have the kit and facilities to perform laparoscopic spays, and would love to hear from someone who is either already confident performing them or has a keen interest in learning and developing laparoscopic skills. This is another area where we're very happy to invest in training and support.

At the moment, we're ideally looking for someone part-time, but we're open-minded. Salary is dependent on experience, interests (including ophthalmology), and hours worked -- we're far more interested in finding the right person than sticking rigidly to numbers.
