Veterinary Surgeon

Warrington, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

We are looking for a vet to join our exciting and independent practice as a key member of our caring team.

This position would be well suited to a vet with a couple of years experience looking to take the next steps in their career and find their niche. Your interests will be encouraged and supported by our experienced in-house team, to aid in your professional development. The successful candidate will join as our fourth vet, joining our team of four RVN's, one SVN, three ACA's and three Receptionists.

The practice has certificate holders in medicine and imaging with employees also working towards certificates in surgery and medicine. Our fellow practices in Lymm and Sandymoor are both within a 30-minute drive. There is also a certificate holder at these practices in ophthalmology, so a vast array of experienced support is always close at hand.

Our practice has been built to a high standard, with all the expected toys and gadgets. Should you have a special interest, we are fully committed to investing in equipment needed to support that.

We recently celebrated our third birthday and have a growing, thriving client base and a great relationship with the local community, as can be seen by our nearly 600 five-star Google reviews.

We are continuing to build a practice that encourages a collaborative and supportive team approach that helps our team members thrive. Full-time members of our team work four days out of five with a dedicated day off every week and we outsource our out of hours work to protect our team's work-life balance.

Your role will involve a shared rota of consulting and operating, although a bias can be supported. You will be exposed to a large and varied caseload in order to further develop your skills. We ideally want a candidate who is capable of developing a good relationship with the local community, to become a well known and trusted face for the practice over time.

A good sense of humour is essential, baking skills are optional but highly desired.

If this job sounds like it could be for you, we would love to hear from you!
