Permanent vet needed for lovely independent practice on the Dorset / Hampshire border, just 10 minutes from the New Forest.

My husband and myself, both vets, bought the practice just over 2 years ago. We have worked hard to grow and improve the practice. The time has come to find an additional vet to join us.

We have two sites, one in Alderholt and the other in Three Legged Cross. Both are equipped with surgical facilities, radiography, ultrasound and Idexx suites. The Three Cross site has laparoscopy, endoscopy and extensive orthopaedic kit in addition. We are both surgery certificate holders so plenty of surgery is done in house.

For our next team member, a whole variety of interests could be valuable to us, and we are open to investment in training and equipment. An ability to perform at least routine surgery would be ideal.

We have owned a practice before, so know what we are doing. We both love being vets and are passionate about providing great care and great service. No crazy policies being passed down from up high that don't work in practice, as we are there at the coalface too. We really do welcome feedback and ideas that will help move the practice forward.

Salary in the region of 40 -65k for a full time role (4 day week). No OOH, Saturday mornings on a rota. Part time could also be accommodated.

Experience is great, but attitude and ability to connect with clients and work as part of a team is even more important.
