Veterinary Surgeron Wanted for a small independent practice in Wishaw

We are an exciting young independent small group of vets with three clinics in Scotland, we are looking for Veterinary Surgeon to join our team; pay dependent on experience and responsibilities and contracted hours. The successful candidates will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing the best possible care for our patients. We would like the candidate to potentially help with cover in our other branches if the need arises.

We are offering permanent opportunities for a full time veterinary surgeon. The candidate must must be comfortable with sole charge and emergencies.

Our practices are purpose built and well equipped, offering varied surgical/medical caseload.

Your schedule will include a rotated Saturday rota but no Out of Hours work. We can be flexible on shifts worked during the week.

Responsibilities:

Diagnosing and treating a wide range of animal health conditions. Performing surgeries and other procedures as required. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and their pets. Staying up-to-date with the latest veterinary technologies and techniques. Participating in continuous education and training programs to further develop your skills and knowledge. Offering procedures or estimates in consults

Requirements:

A degree in veterinary medicine from a recognised university. Registered with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work well in a team as well as independently. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
