Abbey House Vets are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join the team at Morley. This role is a very exciting and unique roll where you will be able to experience a varied but exciting caseload with excellent support from fellow RVNS, SVNS, PCAs and Vet surgeons. The rota will be 6pm-3am Monday - Friday and will include 1:4 weekends working (with time off to compensate the weekend working).


The roll will allow you to experience a high caseload in a fast paced environment and becoming a key member of our team to support our patients in the evenings and during the night.

Cleaning, disinfection and preparation of patient accommodation. Actively maintain the hospital and follow infection control procedures. This will include sterilising and deep cleaning among other duties. Assist Veterinary Surgeons, Veterinary Nurses, and support staff where and when required. Work and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Demonstrate the ability to be reliable, adaptable, understanding and empathetic.

Abbey House is a Tier 3 Hospital based in Morley, West Yorkshire, just a short train ride from Leeds with easy access to the beautiful Peak District and the city of York less than 1 hour away. An amazing team of supportive, dedicated, caring professionals Full imaging suite including Xray, multiple ultrasound scanners and onsite CT Excellent in patient facilities with separate dog/cat/exotic and day/long stay wards plus ICU and onsite lab with dedicated technician (Haem/biochem/coags/EPOC) Separate dog/cat waiting areas and 7 consult rooms.
