Working pattern: Mon-Thurs 8.00 -17.00, Fri 08.00-16.00

Location: 1001 Skynet Drive, Park Lane, Corsham, Wiltshire, SN13 9NP

Serco is looking for Vetting and Access Administrator to join the fantastic team at MOC Hawthorn. Reporting to the site Security Officer, you will provide Vetting Services to all Serco personnel and sub-contractors on contract. You will also act as a focal point in the processing and approval of visitors to the sites, significantly contributing to the overall physical security of the contract.


Main Accountabilities:

Liaise with Serco Vetting ensuring compliance with Group policies and procedures. Process applications for security clearances, monitor, hasten and ensure line managers and other stakeholders are kept informed. Monitor and raise awareness of the Access & Vetting Procedures, security limitations/restrictions within the user community. Administration in support of the Personal Security Assurance Framework (Aftercare & Awareness). Carryout comparisons of the information presented in the visit requests against current information; make appropriate amendments/highlight issues. Ensure all visitors to sites hold appropriate and valid levels of clearance in accordance with the customers' requirements. Ensure all visit requests are completed correctly, processed and acknowledged to the originator. Ensure all visit requests have been authorised correctly in accordance with the customers' requirements and electronically passed to the appropriate site. Liaise with the UK government vetting authorities and other company Access/Security controllers. Develop new and monitor existing access and vetting procedures in line with the customer and Government security requirements. Handle all information /document control in accordance with company GSOPs and the strict adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Liaise with other Serco security personnel, line managers and stakeholders. Carry out continual training and development. Any other duties within scope as required by the Site Security Officer (West). Attend meetings and take the minutes. Production of security reports associated with role.

What you need to do the role


Essential:

Hold or able to achieve an SC clearance. Computer literacy, being fully conversant with the MS Office Professional Software suite or similar integrated software packages. Valid Driving Licence

Desirable:

Experience with MOD vetting or similar Experience of working in a secure environment
