Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong command of various editing software. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with our brand's vision and objectives.

Duties

Edit and assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the desired vision and style. Collaborate with producers and directors to understand project goals and requirements. Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects, to enhance video quality and effects. Incorporate graphics, sound effects, music, and voiceovers as needed to create compelling narratives. Maintain an organised library of video assets and ensure all files are properly archived. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve editing skills. Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for video content.

Skills

Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects. Strong understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Illustrator for graphic creation. Excellent video editing skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling. Basic photography skills to assist in capturing high-quality visuals when necessary. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas and feedback.
