IBC TV Ltd, a leading Arabic-language broadcaster in London, is looking for a
skilled Arabic-speaking Video News Editor
to join our newsroom. This is ademanding and fast-paced role
where precision, speed, and editorial judgment are crucial. You will play a direct role in shaping our daily Arabic news output across broadcast and digital platforms.Key Duties
Edit news packages, features, and breaking news using
Avid NewsCutter
. Collaborate with producers and reporters to shape stories with compelling visuals and sound. Ensurelinguistic accuracy in Arabic
and uphold strict editorial standards. Cut soundbites, sync footage, and integrate basic graphics where required. Deliverbroadcast-ready edits under intense deadlines
. Adapt and re-version content for both television and online platforms.Qualifications & Skills
Native or near-native Arabic fluency
(essential). English communication skills. Proven experience editing in a newsroom, ideally withAvid NewsCutter
. Excellent editorial judgment and strong attention to detail. Ability to perform under pressure and meet strict deadlines. Familiarity with newsroom systems and digital publishing workflows. A degree in Journalism, Media, or Communications is an advantage, but not essential.What We Offer
