Job Summary


*Fully responsible for the operation of video app products/core business modules, developing and executing overall operational strategies, driving user growth, activity, retention, and achieving commercialization goals.

*Gain a deep understanding of the video industry and user needs, insight into market trends, and provide decision-making basis for product iteration direction and operational priorities.

*Build and manage an efficient operational team, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure the achievement of operational goals

Duties



1. Strategic planning and direction setting: Based on market research, user research, and data analysis, develop a long-term operational strategy, annual/quarterly operational plan, and target breakdown for the video app.
Clearly define product positioning, core value proposition, and differentiated competitive strategy.
Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and adjust operational direction and resource investment in a timely manner.
2. User growth and lifecycle management: Design and optimize user growth paths (recruitment, activation, retention, recall), develop and implement effective user growth strategies (including but not limited to channel expansion, viral activities, content marketing, etc.).
Build a user layered operation system and design refined operation strategies for different user groups (such as new users, active users, silent users, and paying users).
Lead the construction and iteration of user profiles, and guide precise operations.
3. Content ecology and community operation: Develop platform content strategies (including PGC/UGC/OGC), guide content production, distribution, and consumption, and enhance content quantity, quality, and diversity.
Build and maintain a creator ecosystem, and develop strategies for introducing, motivating, and growing creators.
Plan and promote the construction of community atmosphere, enhance user interaction and sense of belonging.
4. Event and Marketing Planning: Plan and execute large-scale online/offline marketing activities, holiday events, hot event marketing, etc., to enhance brand awareness, user activity, and core indicators.
Responsible for the full process management of activities (planning, execution, resource coordination, and effectiveness review).
5. Data analysis and driving decision-making: Establish and improve the core operational data indicator system, conduct daily data monitoring, in-depth analysis, and specialized research.
By analyzing data and mining user behavior characteristics, content preferences, and feature usage, we can identify growth opportunities and potential problems, drive product iteration, and optimize operational strategies.
Evaluate the effectiveness of various operational activities/strategies and conduct ROI analysis.
6. Cross departmental collaboration and team management: Closely collaborate with departments such as product, technology, design, marketing, and commercialization to promote the implementation of operational requirements and efficient project execution.
Responsible for building the operations team, talent development, performance management, and achieving goals.
Effectively manage operational budgets.

Requirements



Chinese students and Chinese nationals are given priority. 1. Education and experience: Bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for majors in marketing, statistics, computer science, communication, management, or related fields.
More than 5 years of Internet product operation experience, more than 3 years of video platform (such as long video, short video, live broadcast, community video, etc.) core module or overall operation management experience , with successful cases preferred.
Have team management experience (3 or more people).
2. Core competencies: Strategic thinking: possessing excellent industry insights, market analysis skills, and strategic planning abilities.
User understanding: Deeply understand the needs, behavioral habits, and psychology of video users.
Data driven: Proficient in data analysis methodologies and tools (such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, etc.), able to independently extract, clean, analyze, and interpret data, and drive business decisions.
Full stack operation: Possess profound practical experience and successful cases in at least 2-3 fields such as user growth, content operation, event operation, community operation, and data analysis.
Project management and execution capability: Strong project driving force, cross departmental collaboration ability, and resource integration ability, capable of efficient implementation.
Leadership: Excellent team management, motivation, and development abilities.
3. Industry knowledge: in-depth research and understanding of the product form, operation strategy and business model of mainstream video platforms at home and abroad (such as Tencent Video, iQIYI, Youku, Station B, Tiktok, Kwai, YouTube, etc.). 4. Soft skills: excellent communication and expression skills, stress resistance, learning ability, innovative thinking, and sense of responsibility.
