We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Videographer to join our campaign production team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical shooting abilities, excellent editing instincts, and a deep understanding of how to craft engaging, impactful content - particularly for social media. This role is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring someone who thrives under pressure and can consistently deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Videography & Production
Shoot high-quality video content using Sony camera systems in a variety of environments (studio, events, field, interviews).
Set up and operate lighting equipment to achieve consistent and professional results.
Work closely with the Head Videographer to execute creative concepts and ensure all content aligns with campaign objectives and messaging.
Capture additional footage such as b-roll, event footage, or quick-turn content as needed.
Editing & Post-Production
Edit videos efficiently using Adobe Premiere Pro, with knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics, titles, and dynamic visuals.
Deliver both polished edits and rapid-turnaround cuts suitable for real-time campaign moments.
Maintain organised project files, timelines, and asset libraries to ensure seamless team collaboration.
Uphold quality standards across all outputs, including colour consistency, sound design, pacing, and graphic integration.
Social Media Content Creation
Edit and optimise videos for platforms including TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Twitter/X.
Apply strong knowledge of social-first storytelling: hooks, pacing, sound trends, subtitles, aspect ratios, and attention-retention strategies.
Stay up to date with viral formats and emerging creative trends relevant to political and general social content.
Team Coordination & Workflow
Communicate proactively with the Production Lead to manage workloads, deadlines, and creative direction.
Support other team members during shoots, helping with setup, lighting, and coordination as needed.
Follow naming conventions, file structures, and workflow processes to keep the production pipeline running smoothly.
Maintain strong organisational habits to ensure projects are delivered efficiently even during high-intensity campaign periods.
Skills & Experience
Required
Showreel - filmed and edited by you.
3+ years of professional videography and editing experience.
Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
Skills in colour grading using Lumetri.
Strong technical understanding of Sony FX cameras and lighting setups.
Hands-on experience filming in fast-paced environments (events, street, documentary-style shoots, interviews).
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Strong sense of narrative pacing and visual storytelling.
Understanding of social media video conventions, hooks, graphics, and platform-specific best practices.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Bonus / Nice to Have
Experience working on political campaigns or issue-based advocacy.
Basic ability in photography.
Comfort working irregular hours during peak campaign moments.
