What You Need to Know



This is an junior-mid level position, contracted for 12 months with the possibility to extend of become a full time after this period. We will consider applications from candidates with industry or marketing experience, however this is not a prerequisite.

This role is largely remote, with the possible requirement to regularly work on location or from our London office for any live action filming. You will have the option to work from the office at your discretion, as well as contact time with your line manager during a 3 month probation. Flexible working is our long term plan for staff at Firefly, with teams brought together physically for major meetings and optional monthly socials.

Office hours are UK full time 9am - 5:30pm, Mon - Fri.

12-month contract salary of 30,000

25 days holiday allowance (Plus 8 UK bank holidays)

Role Description



Looking to advance your video production skills in a fast paced gaming studio?

We are seeking a creative and independent Videographer to work as part of our marketing team, handling a diverse set of responsibilities including ideation, scriptwriting, scheduling, filming, editing and online distribution.

Working as part of Firefly's marketing team you will assist in the planning and execution of multiple video campaigns across various products in Firefly Studios' growing catalogue of games, both internal and externally published.

You will use and develop skills associated with all aspects of video production across both long-form and short-form content creation for video game promotion.

Reporting directly to the Video and Cinematics Director and Marketing Manager, as well as working closely with the rest of the marketing team at Firefly, it will be your responsibility to plan and execute video campaigns for Firefly Studios' published games on various storefronts and social media sites.

This role is ideal for a candidate with some prior experience working in video game content creation, with a willingness to work independently on a variety of tasks that fall under the umbrella of video production.

Your ultimate goal will be to create polished, entertaining and engaging video content that drive KPIs such as wishlists, purchases and user activity for our roster of games, but also to suggest and spearhead initiatives of your own to help promote our back catalogue of titles.

As this is a junior-mid level position, our successful candidate will be self-driven and expected to manage assigned tasks through to completion independently.

What You Need



Camera, lighting and audio skills Experience with the Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects Experience with game capture/recording Experience with and passion for social media video, including short-form production Proactive nature and a positive attitude Excellent written and oral communication skills in English Be happy to turn your hand to any video marketing task and get creative in your approach Strong organisational skills and experience working to deadlines Be a quick learner who isn't afraid to fail, learn and ask for guidance

Salary



30,000 (12-Month Contract)

Remote with the ability to work from our London office (?SW1V 1PX), on location and at events for filming
