Hours

Salary

Overview

We're looking for a confident, creative and highly capable videographer to join our small but tight-knit team. This is a hands-on, end-to-end production role for someone who wants to take ownership of shoots and post-production. You'll work closely with the Creative Director and Head of Production to deliver high-quality commercial content across a broad range of clients and formats.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a smaller, fast-moving environment where you need to take initiative, own the details, and make things happen. We're not a large agency with layers of people - you'll be the technical lead on shoots, supported but not handheld.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Production & Shoot Planning

Interpret briefs and shot lists created by the Creative Director Manage all equipment requirements and prep Own the lighting setup - achieving technically strong, beautifully lit scenes

Filming & Production

Act as lead camera operator on most shoots (including solo and two-person shoots) All camera set ups and gimbal work Manage composition, exposure, audio, and focus in real-time Work collaboratively on-set to capture the required content efficiently and creatively

Post-Production

Handle all aspects of post including:

Data wrangling and media management Premiere Pro editing (structuring, pacing, storytelling) Colour grading Sound design and mixing Basic motion graphics (title cards, lower thirds, transitions) Apply advanced techniques like motion tracking and rotoscoping where needed

Client Interaction, Project Management & Administrative

Support Creative Director in client communications, proposals and pitches when required Communicate clearly and professionally via email, on set and in client meetings / calls Supporting with the creation of marketing content (blogs, posts, reels, etc) Central to decisions on procurement of equipment

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a videographer across commercial projects, while you don't need to be a graduate, this is definitely not the role for someone making a first foray into the industry Strong knowledge of lighting principles and techniques In depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and proficiency in After Effects Experience or knowledge of using DaVinci Resolve is a bonus but not essential Confident using Canon cameras (C300 MKIII and C70), lenses, and gimbals Comfortable running a shoot solo or taking the lead when working as a duo Highly organised and calm under pressure A true self-starter who's happy to figure things out and take ownership Must have a full UK driving license and have access to your own vehicle. For most shoots you will travel with the Creative Director but there are occasional shoots that will require you to travel alone with the equipment.

Nice to Have:

Rotoscoping and motion tracking ability Experience in colour grading beyond presets More extensive knowledge of Adobe After Effects Experience or knowledge of using DaVinci Resolve

The Role in Context:

You'll often be working very closely with the Creative Director on set, but they are not a camera op, lighting tech or editor - that's your domain. They will be focussed on client content, client liaison and producer activity. You'll need to be the one who manages content gathering and solves technical problems on location, ensuring quality from capture to delivery.

While this role is largely production focused, you'll be working as part of a collaborative team of three - so flexibility, curiosity and a willingness to pitch in across projects is essential.

Working Environment & Culture

We work from a shared office space in Redhill with excellent road and rail connections to London and beyond. The facilities are great, with a nice working space upstairs and full kitchen facilities and showers downstairs. It's a collaborative building and one where residents often get together.

We create commercial video content - predominantly B2B - for clients ranging from innovative startups and solo consultants to well-known, global brands. It's varied work: anything from TV Commercials to animated explainers. Sometimes high-end, sometimes practical and informative, but always purposeful and with ROI for the client in mind. The best way to understand our work is to check out our portfolio on the website - this is literally what we do.

As a small team, we're able to respond to client needs quickly and turn projects around efficiently, but that doesn't mean we cut corners. We've established clear processes, use proper documentation, and run client jobs using structured project management software and tools.

We also understand that work and life need to co-exist. Outside of shoot days or tight deadlines, we support flexible working patterns where we can - as long as the work is completed to a high standard and on time, we're happy to be versatile with working hours.

Values

The business has been running for nearly 15 years and we have 100% five star reviews on Google. We've achieved this because we have always abided by some core values in our company:

Trust and integrity

- our clients trust us because we are honest and principled in everything that we do. We behave the right way even when no one is looking.

Commercial Reality

- we operate in a competitive sector and we make sure that what we produce is not just a vanity project for our own creative whims, but has a return on investment for our clients and works for them how they need it to.

Supportive

- we're a small team of three. We've had as many as six and as few as one over the years, but we've always been collaborative, empathetic and supportive to one another as a true team.

Creative

- we recognise that sometimes client budgets can determine how we approach a project, but no matter the client, brief or budget, we always try to find the most creative and engaging way to meet the original brief.

Customer Service

- this is the central pillar to everything. We value every client equally, without them there is no business, and we ensure that every client has the very best experience working with us because we put them front and centre.

These aren't just quirky statements, it is how Square Daisy operates in practice on a day-to-day basis.
