We're iHeat a nationwide home energy company making boilers, solar and heat pumps feel simple, fast and genuinely exciting.

Customers can get a fixed-price quote online in about 60 seconds, book next-day installs, and deal with a team who actually picks up the phone when needed. Everything from quoting to servicing a year later is handled by our team at our HQ in Bolton.

We don't just install boilers. We produce solar content, film full renewable setups, and create videos that help homeowners understand how to save energy, cut bills and choose the right products.

And we do it all with over 20,000 worth of professional gear - Sony FX3, A7S3, A7IV, multiple G Master lenses, lighting rigs, audio, the lot. If you love having proper toys to play with, you'll feel right at home.

The Job Role

We're growing our YouTube channel and social platforms into a real hub for homeowners explaining boilers, solar panels, battery storage, heat pumps and energy saving in fun, clear and creative ways.

Think breakdown videos, myth-busting, product tests, behind-the-scenes installs, customer stories and big collaborations with influential creators.

To do this consistently (and keep raising the bar), we're looking for a videographer-editor who loves storytelling, loves experimenting and understands digital marketing as much as they understand a camera.

Responsibilities include:

Filming and editing studio and on-location videos Using editing software of choice produce clean, engaging edits Creating animated titles, graphics and motion elements Designing standout thumbnails in Photoshop/Illustrator Planning, scripting and scheduling shoots Setting up lighting, audio and kit for studio and on-site filming Researching competitor channels and trending formats Shooting stills for social posts Managing our YouTube studio and keeping it looking sharp Publishing content across YouTube, Instagram and TikTok Generating new feature ideas from keyword research and audience insight

What we're looking for:

Experience filming business, tutorial, product or review-style videos Strong editing skills in software of choice Ability to explain your thinking on pacing, retention and storytelling Understanding of how the YouTube algorithm influences titles, hooks and formats A sharp eye for great thumbnails Confidence using Sony Alpha cameras (nice to have, not essential) Comfortable picking up new tech quickly Someone who genuinely enjoys creating and experimenting Positive energy and pride in your craft
