At Doncasters we have an exciting opportunity for a Melter to join our team in Killamarsh, Sheffield.

Our Melting team work one week of 6.00am to 2.00pm, one week of 10.00pm to 6.00am and one week of 2.00pm to 10.00pm.

The Role



Join our team and help us put metals into motion by melting our materials at high temperatures!

Our melting team are responsible for mould building, furnace preparation, melting and pot building as well as providing a smooth and effective handover between shifts.



Safety is always our top priority. Every task you take on will be carried out with the highest standards of care and responsibility, ensuring a safe and productive environment for you and the Doncasters team.

Previous melting experience. Applicants must be able to demonstrate that their committed to following policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and quality. Furthermore, you will have a high level of attention to detail. Experience in operating forklift truck and overhead cranes is preferred but this is not essential as full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
