As a Mechanical Design and Process Engineering VIE part of the Gypsum Manufacturing Technology department, you will play a key role in supporting global projects and driving process excellence across our different sites.
Your key responsibilities will include :
Process Design Support:
Contribute to engineering design activities for new and existing plant installations across Gypsum Manufacturing Technology (GMT)'s global operations;
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with senior Engineers to refine and enhance design standards, ensuring optimal performance and reliability;
Early Equipment Management (EEM):
Participate in EEM reviews, applying lessons learned from previous installations to improve future project outcomes and reduce losses;
Tender Package Development:
Assist in preparing technical specifications and documentation for procurement of new process equipment;
Commissioning & Training
: Support the commissioning of new equipment and help prepare the training material for the sites operational teams to ensure smooth handover and operation.

You hold an Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechanical Design, or Industrial Design
You could acquire a solid understanding of mechanical design principles and equipment development
You're proficient in 3D modeling using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Inventor, and comfortable working with both 2D and 3D design tools. Experience with CFD simulation tools would be a plus
You're comfortable with Word and Excel
You communicate effectively in English and enjoy working in an international environment
You're proactive, curious, and eager to learn through hands-on experience and collaboration
You bring strong organizational skills and can manage tasks, timelines, and priorities effectively
You'll be joining a collaborative and experienced group of professionals. The core team consists of six engineers who specialize in mechanical design and project management, working closely to deliver high-impact solutions.
Alongside them is a dedicated drawing office made up of five engineers focused on technical documentation and design support.
You'll also be connected to a global network of colleagues within Gypsum Manufacturing Technology, giving you exposure to diverse projects and continuous learning opportunities.
